Suggested Use for Massage Treatment Energize |
|
One of the easiest and most therapeutic ways of practising aromatherapy at home is through massage. Apart from boosting your emotional and physical well-being, massage can help tone your muscles, ease aches and pains, breakdown fat and improve your circulation. To make your own special massage treatment, simply use three drops of your preferred Nelson & Russell essential oil in 10ml/0.34 fl oz of our Massage Treatment Base.
To experience the full benefits of massage, ensure your hands are warm and covered with oil and then massage over the body, using long deep strokes.
Bathing: Simply put up to eight drops of your preferred Nelson & Russell essential oil into the water and experience true relaxation. Alternatively pour one of our Foaming Bath Treatments under warm running water, then lie back in the bath, smoothing the foam over your body and inhaling the soothing, sensual aroma.
Footbath: To put life back into tired, sore feet, add up to five drops of one of Nelson & Russell essential oils to a bowl of warm to hot water and soak your feet for ten minutes.
Aromatherapy Burner: Create a sensuous, relaxed or refreshing atmosphere in any room by using a burner. Simply blend water and a few drops of an essential oil and in minutes the entire room will smell flagrantly captivating.
Inhalation: Add three to six drop of a Nelson & Russell essential oil to a bowl of steaming water, cover your head with a towel, close your eyes and inhale the vapour for one to three minutes. Alternatively, put a couple of drops on a handkerchief or tissue. Take in the aroma at intervals to clear you head or help you relax.
Facial steaming: Add three to six drop of a Nelson & Russell essential oil to a bowl of steaming water, cover your head with a towel, close your eyes and delight in the cleansing action of the oil. Afterwards, splash your face with cold water, tone and moisturise.
